Sime Darby Automobiles NZ Ltd adds Citroen

From February 1st Sime Darby Automobiles NZ Ltd (SDA) has added Citroën to its stable of automotive brands.

The PSA Group, which owns both Peugeot and Citroën is Europe’s seconds largest car manufacturer and is consolidating in markets outside Europe. As SDA has been the NZ distributor for Peugeot for a number of years, it therefore makes sense to have one distribution point for both brands.

SDA general manager Grant Smith reports that 2013 will see PSA Group launch the largest number of new Peugeot and Citroën models ever in a single year.

The importer/distributor businesses of SDA operate Autoline IMS.

Autoline staff managed the importing and data conversion of Citroën parts and vehicles into the existing warehouse to meet the client timelines.
